CHIEF (DR.) MORGAN OKWOCHE is an astute Engineer with more than 30years. experience in the Oil &Gas industry in Nigeria. Dr. Okwoche is a Natural Gas specialist with wide experience in Gas pipeline projects. He is versatile in both Technical and Commercial aspects of the Gas industry and pioneered several Gas Utilisation Projects such as: The Trans-Sahara Gas Pipeline Project (TSGP), 2004 - 2007; NNPC Special Gas Projects linked to downstream investment against oil block allocation 2007-2008; Trans Nigeria Gas Pipeline Projects (TNGP); Development of the Gas Master Plan and the Coordinator of the Nigerian Gas Transportation Network Code. He was the project manager for the mega 48" x 130-Km Obiafu/Obrikom to Oben Gas Pipeline Project, with a throughput of 2 Billion Cubic Feet per Day. He enjoyed his last position as the MD/CEO of Gas Aggregation Company Nigeria Limited (GACN), responsible for domestic Gas utilisation. Chief Okwoche was a Pioneer Engineer in the West African Gas Pipeline Project (WAGP), that supply Gas to Ghana for power generation and sundry other applications. He also converted 50 petrol cars to run on compress. natural Gas (CNG) and is presently waking on LCNG, a combined LNG and CNG stations, with the introduction of domestic LNG in Nigeria.
In the academic setting, he has a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Higher Institute of Chemical Technology Bourgas, Bulgaria in 1987; Pursued Postgraduate Diploma in Security and Intelligence Management and Master's Degree program in International Relations with OSSIM, India, and CMU, South America respectively. He is an Arbitrator with a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolutions from the organized United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) 2004. He is a certified Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) 2013 and the Financial & Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) USA SEC Regulator 2011- 2012. Chief (Dr.) Morgan Okwoche has earned doctorate degree awards from two prestigious universities.
Chief Okwoche is a member of Nigerian Gas Association (NGA), Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and a Neutral, Abuja Multi-Door Courthouse amongst others. Chief Okwoche is married and blessed with three children and is widely travelled within Africa, Europe, Asia and Americas.
